Twin Falls

The Falls are reduced to a trickle
during the dry season but the plunge pool and gorge are surrounded
by spectacular cliffs. Located 30 minutes drive further on from
Jim Jim Falls. Those arriving soon after the access track is opened
may find the falls still flowing, however vehicle access across
Jim Jim Creek will be hazardous at this time.
The falls are located deep within a gorge and can be only accessed
by by swimming or paddling on an air mattress up the crystal clear
waters of the creek to enjoy the white, sandy beaches set amongst
tropical palms and ferns. Road access to Twin Falls is closed during
the wet seasion, however the sight of these majestic falls is awe
inspiring from the air.
